Glass sqft max
Would it be possible to put a maximum sqft/ dimension in for a glass type to prevent applying glass to a light that is to large?

HalMaybe include an option to provide a warning level and an absolute max level? For example, I can purchase oversize units at a premium cost within limits (e.g. 1" IG units > 50 sqft but less than 60ish sqft). Once over the upper limit, I have to shift to thicker glass with more significant impacts (e.g. glass and framing system changes).

Ben Zuill-Smith AdminWould you like this to be a property of the glass product? That is, do different glass products have different max requirements?
Or a more general setting that applies everywhere?
Or perhaps some combination (a default applied to all glass, but overrides at the product level)? -

Brian BarnhillOur glass suppliers charge a higher $/SqFt with units above a certain SqFt limit, then another charge above a 2nd SqFt limit.
It would be beneficial in this case to have extra fields for those costs at those SqFt limits.
The glass suppliers call these "Surcharge", which amounts to a higher SqFt cost on those units.
This can easily be missed by an estimator not double-checking glass sizes on their project.
