Estimators Notes on Elevations for PMs
I meet with my PMs on every single job to review the project in GDS. elevations, doors, codes etc. Many of them are simple and some place to put notes in an elevation would eliminate the need for a review meeting. Examples:
"This horizontal is off from the others" = Done on purpose to match the bldg sightline.
"The plans say impact, this isnt" = Per code its fine and I called them to confirm VE option.
"You have 2CPaint, what color code?" = (Could put it in the notes, esp if they vary per elevation)

Patrick Millard AdminWe've had requests for this in the past, but always get sidetracked by something else. This makes total sense Stephen. The notes need to be printed on the elevation drawing I'm sure, but where else would you like to see them?

Stephen LongAwesome thank you Patrick! - When I print my shop drawings I use the title block and actually use this for my submittals so I wouldn't always want them there. Optional maybe. Cant think of anywhere else they'd need to show, a toggle in the active elevation working screen and/or the shop drawings to print. Thanks again!
