Hardware catalog
Would like to see a hardware catalog that can be accessed across all other vendors similar to the glass table. The ability to print a schedule of hardware per entrance would be most helpful too.

Ben Zuill-Smith AdminMake sense. Thanks for the suggestion Greg. There is already a Door Schedule suggestion that I encourage you to upvote here: https://feedback.winbidpro.com/suggestions/322929/door-and-glazing-schedule
I have changed the title of this suggestion to "Hardware Catalog" to help differentiate between the two. -

Patrick Millard AdminThis is something we have in the v15 software, and were not sure how much it was used. We should be able to carry this over to v16 with the same functionality. Did you happen to use this feature in v15?

Greg FisherI have tried to used the hardware catalog in V15. The problem being the hardware has to be added "after the fact".
The workaround for me is to put the hardware items; closers, exits, sweeps etc., in the vendor catalog as a part. From the vendor catalog the hardware items can be added to the doors created as you build the job.
Hardware parts then appear in the reports which makes the part numbers and quantities available for manufacturer quotes etc.
If the parts were in a separate table with cross vendor access and the ability to add the hardware items to doors as they are defined another time saver would be the ability to perform list price maintenance on the hardware items in one place rather than chasing one part in multiple vendor catalogs.
List pricing for the hardware items with a multiplier would then allow job specific pricing, based on the manufacturer's quote of the day.
So, the next step would be the hardware schedule as a separate report, grouped by opening.
