Seperate Employee Files
We have four (4) people using the v16 program (1 estimator, 2 PMs, 1 Fabrication). It would be nice for each person to have their own individual folder to keep the projects they are working on in instead of them all being in one location. Currently all projects are kept together which leads to a long list. If each person had their own folder, then we could copy or transfer projects to the correct folders when we need to.
IE: Estimator puts original estimated job in his folder. When we are awarded the project, the file can be copied or transferred to our PM folder. When fabrication starts the file is copied or transferred our Fabrication folder.

Ben Zuill-Smith AdminHi Vince, our team discussed this and we don't plan on a folder system specifically; however, we can enable grouping and more filtering options on that grid of jobs and remember the grouping/filtering each time you open it. In the meantime, there is already a "Status" column that can contain any text you wish and may be used for filtering to categories. You could create statuses like "Bidding", "Bid won", "In Fabrication", "Needs PM Review", etc.
