Add Custom Detail When Creating Custom Parts in Catalogs

I would like to add a cad detail, jpg, or pdf when entering a new custom part into a vendors catalog.

For example, I am manually adding in parts for the CRL Cascade Interior Partition System and would like to simply copy and paste the online image provided by CRL. Reference my attached image for Part WU3.

This is could also help with my submittals and be very time efficient.

We've been wanting to add this functionality for a while and it is now midway through development. However, details need to be in a CAD format so that we can manipulate them for shop drawings (either DXF or DWG). It would be nice to have PNG or JPG files, but we use a CAD based tool for shop drawings, so I'm afraid the image formats won't work.

I can work with CAD files. Most Manufacturers have a CAD files available. Glad to know it is under development.
